Studio Veewo Games has announced the full release date for Neon Abyss 2, the platform rogue-lite action game that has been in early access since July last year. The full PC (Steam) version will be released on October 8, 2026, the same day the game will first appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch consoles. This release will be accompanied by major update 1.0, the specific details of which have not yet been disclosed.
“Neon Abyss 2” inherits the concepts of the original and provides a more dynamic roguelike game that emphasizes variability and cooperative gameplay. Events take place again in the chaotic world of the Abyss, where chance determines strategy, and the passage of each attempt is different from the previous one. The core mechanics remain the same: players explore procedurally generated levels, fight enemies, and collect items that interact with each other to form unexpected and often devastating combinations.
The second part significantly expands the interaction possibilities. A new four-player co-op mode has been added, allowing you to strategize your team and combine abilities for maximum effect. The arsenal of weapons and abilities has become more diverse, ranging from familiar weapon types to exotic attacks and summoned creatures. There are also hatchling pets that can be cultivated, upgraded, and used in battle.
