A new feature film based on the Resident Evil universe from director Zach Craig, best known for the horror film “The Guns,” is a triumph at the global box office. The film had the best performance ever for the series, grossing $108.3 million in its opening weekend and earning high scores from audiences and critics (Rotten Tomatoes scores of 91% and 95% respectively). Thanks to the release of CINEMAPLEX, Russian audiences will be able to see the film on the big screen as early as September 26, 2026.
The film’s plot centers on a medical courier named Brian who, due to a fateful coincidence, finds himself at the center of a deadly disaster. One night, the streets of Raccoon City turn into hell, forcing the heroes to fight a desperate fight for survival amid the rapidly spreading chaos.
