The developers of “Battle Royale” and “Apex Legends” have cooperated with the fighting game “Street Fighter 6”. This event adds a new combat mechanism “Warrior Form”, a redesigned “Olympus” map and accessories to the game.
The Fighter Form mechanic allows players to build up combat gauges, allowing players to switch to a third-person perspective and use enhanced melee attacks, blocking, damage reduction, speed increases, and new tactical and ultimate abilities. In order to accumulate scale on the Joker Card, there are special tokens that can be obtained by destroying impact trucks.
The Olympus map has been redesigned to include some scenes from Street Fighter 6, including Luke’s training room, the arcade, Blanca’s balloon, and more. Players can also find fighter gear and choose from four sets related to Ryu, Chun Li, Akuma, and Dhalsim. Each set comes with passive abilities, tactical skills, and its own ultimate attack.
In the last round of this mode, the “Decisive Battle” begins. All remaining contestants enter “Warrior Form,” and downed and resurrected players jump back into the fray, turning the final stages of the game into a massive melee.
The event also introduced a new Street Fighter 6-themed mythical universal melee item, the Hadoken. To obtain cosmetics, players can earn the in-game currency Zenny and spend it in the special rewards store, which includes Lifeline x Li-Fen epic skins and more.
A total of eight new themed character looks and eight legendary weapon looks have been added to this event. In addition to this, two jump emotes, holographic spray, stickers, badges, counters and banner frames are also available.
