Mist Hunters has received an update with new events, combat system improvements, and a host of fixes. The developers have also prepared rewards for active players and have significantly improved the technical aspects of the game.
The main temporary event will be the “Golden Tree”. Starting at 05:00 Moscow time on September 24, players must find and defeat the Golden Ancients in the competition and receive rewards for this. At the same time, there will also be 7 days of surprises and daily gifts, including a rare Peep’s bag coupon. Both events will continue until the end of the first season. Weekend Battle Packs are now also available through weekend surprise special events, with 1 Premium Battle Pack and 2 Elite Battle Packs available each week.
We have not forgotten the game itself. The game now displays the current battle server, and in the match history you can now report the winning player directly from details of damage done. PC has added native support for PlayStation controllers. The developers have also fixed a number of issues with area movement, collision, teleportation, and streaming, which should now reduce the occurrence of microfreezes.
Balance also went through multiple live edits. Mercenary’s Stone Throw damage has been reduced because combination with this talent is more effective than originally calculated. For Warlocks, Paralyzing Arrow’s interaction with other spells is fixed, while for Oracle, a number of bugs related to dodge, runes, stuns, Psychic Orbs, and controller control have been eliminated.
Finally, the patch fixes issues with tombstones, souls, chests, quests, collisions, interface, and graphics. Even instances where characters would get stuck on walls, hang in the air, or start shaking due to incorrect geometry have been fixed. For legendary equipment, we previously reduced the cost of restoring durability and slightly reduced its loss after defeat.
