Konami has announced that it will participate in CatCon 2026, where it will sell Metal Gear Solid-themed pet products, such as replicas of the series’ iconic cardboard boxes.
Two products were announced at the event. The first is the Pink Care Box, which is a replica of the cardboard box that first appeared in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Judging from the demonstration photos, there is a cat scratching post inside. The second product is the Barrel Box tower, which is reminiscent of the gun barrels in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. This is a two-tier design specifically designed for cats, allowing your pet to perch on the top or bottom.
So far, the product has been announced as an event exclusive, but the possibility exists. Cat lovers from around the world will finally be able to delight themselves and their pets with Konami products.
