KONAMI releases a new first-person horror game Silent Hill: Town Falls. The game is playable on PC (steam) and the PlayStation 5, which costs $49.99, is not yet officially available in Russia. Supports text translation into Russian.
Silent Hill: Town Falls is a first-person psychological horror game set on the remote Scottish island of St. Amelia in 1996. Protagonist Simon O’Dell returns there to deal with past events, only to discover a nearly uninhabited city hidden in thick fog. While exploring abandoned streets and buildings, Simon gradually discovers a connection between himself, the island and its inhabitants, and fragments of the past begin to appear in the surrounding reality. Exploration combines puzzle-solving, stealth and combat with a limited arsenal of weapons and tools, requiring you to choose the appropriate course of action for each situation.
One of Simon’s main tools is a portable CRTV television capable of receiving unstable analog signals. They allow you to find hidden clues, historical fragments and information about events that took place on the island, and the puzzles associated with them gradually reveal details of the past. During encounters, you can use melee weapons, guns, or hide from opponents by hiding and distracting them. The sound system reacts to player movements and enemy behavior, changing the intensity of what’s happening depending on the situation. The progression of the story will lead to different endings based on the player’s decisions and actions.
