Players took to social media this week to actively criticize Playground Games for blocking customization of characters in Forza Horizon 6. Japanese players have reported new cases of Itache authors being punished, with not only the car designs themselves being blocked, but also their photos and unfinished designs being blocked.
Initially, players linked the blockade to massive complaints, but there was no official confirmation of such activity. Playground games now clarified User Content Verification Process. Key points they shared:
- Complaints submitted through the in-game system will be queued and reviewed by human reviewers.
- The number of complaints does not affect a job’s position in the queue, nor is it itself a cause of blocking.
- The decision is based on the content of the material, the seriousness of the violation, and the author’s prior violations.
- Users will receive a warning for the first violation, and subsequent violations may result in an extended blocking period.
- Permanent bans without violations only apply in the most serious cases, including sexual content, nudity, hate speech, etc.
At the same time, the update did not answer players’ questions about which elements of the design of “Itasha” are considered violations.
Let us remind you that Forza Horizon 6 is available on Xbox Series X | S and PC. The project was previously expected to release on Playstation 5 in late 2026, but there is currently no official release date on Sony’s console.
