Video games will take center stage at Lucca Comics and Games Expo 2026thanks to a rich program of sessions, previews, panels, copywriting signings and events dedicated to video games. In fact, it’s no coincidence that he’s one of the event’s most anticipated guests Kitase Yoshinorithe long-standing producer of Final Fantasy VII.
Yoshinori Kitase will participate in a community Q&A dedicated to discussing the legacy of the original and Final Fantasy VII Remake series, as well as a career masterclass about his career at Square Enix. The author will also be inducted into the Lucca Comics and Games Walk of Fame. He will also attend Casa del Boia A display case dedicated to Final Fantasy VII: Revelations.

Remedy, Control Resonant and other guests
Starting today, Control Resonant will be another protagonist of Lucca Comics & Games 2026: from October 30 to November 1, it will be present at the show Creative Director Mikael Kasurinenhe will meet with the public to talk about Remedy Entertainment’s exciting new games.

The plan will eventually include independent treasurydedicated to 10 independent studios selected by a jury, as well as space for Bandai Namco, Tora Edizioni, Day 4 Night Productions, Red Bull, MediaWorld and Euronics. Among the films produced in Italy, there will also be space for The Wonderful Valley of Nioran, which will present a new trailer and a dedicated stand, while The Burning Farmhouse will bring Mamorea, a horror film set between the Apuan Alps and Versilia.
