Embark Studios is preparing a Frozen Trail update for ARC Raiders, which will be released on October 8 and will add a new progression system to the game. Unlike the current rewards track, there will be a 60-tier battle pass with free and premium tiers.
All owners of the game will receive a free version, and the premium pass can be purchased for 1,150 raider tokens. By completing both tracks, players will earn up to 1,350 tokens, with 1,150 tokens in the advanced track allowing active players to accumulate currency for the next level while maintaining current prices.
The premium branch will only contain cosmetic bonuses: additional clothing options, hairstyles, backpacks, and weapon templates. The latter allows you to change the appearance of the weapon without changing its characteristics, and once received, remains in the player’s hands forever.
The developers specifically emphasize that paid content does not provide any advantages in combat. The Frozen Collector’s Bundle also includes Renzo’s costume, a dragon’s breath template, a bob haircut, and 2,400 Raider Tokens. It’s unclear if the battle pass will be limited to in-season play, though.
