CD Projekt Red has announced the specific release date for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt update. The re-release will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 29 at 12:00 Polish time.
This update will significantly refresh the visual part of the RPG: the developers have redesigned lighting and textures, and added ray tracing and support for modern scaling technologies DLSS, FSR and XeSS. Geralt also must fight against his opponent’s improved artificial intelligence.
Changes will affect the combat system, skill trees, and roach control. Other innovations include armor transformations, immersive meditation, and official support for modifications on all released platforms.
With the game’s release, players will once again have to find Ciri, who is being hunted by the Wild Hunt, led by Eredin.
