Remedy responds to fan requests and provides many requested features in Control Resonant. These include the popular New Game+ game mode for greater replayability and photo mode.
Remedy Entertainment released Control Resonant this week and now has a little look at the future. A new blog post has been published on the official website and a roadmap for the coming weeks has been announced.
As such, we’ll be paying close attention to comments and feedback from our community, and will address some fan requests directly. As such, two welcome features will be available shortly after the main game’s release: New Game++ and Photo Mode.
With New Game+, anyone who has played Control Resonance can start a new game using an existing character. The Promised New Game++ is not a typo, but is named that way on purpose, because in the future you will be able to start another New Game++ run after the first New Game++ run – without erasing the progress you have made and having to start with a completely blank slate. New Game++ is scheduled to be released in October.
Photo Mode, also mentioned, provides you with various tools and options to get fully creative with your photos when taking screenshots. The mode cannot be delivered prior to release as the game itself must be prioritized to be in the best possible condition. Now, Photo Mode and all its tools will be coming to the game in November 2026.
Further future updates are already planned; among other things, more cosmetics will be launched.
