With just days left until the release of the remake of the critically acclaimed open-world action RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, developers from Polish studio CD Projekt Red have decided to clarify when the update will be released.

Let us remember that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered (as the updated version is called) has been unveiled at the Opening Night Live show on the eve of Gamescom 2026 and is preparing for its premiere on September 29.
how report “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered Edition” will be released on the CD Projekt Red social network on September 29 at 13:00 Moscow time. The announcement also comes with an image tagged with a global release date.

The remaster will offer improved graphics (although the upgrade is questionable), a combat system and skill tree, an expanded photo mode, cross-platform support for mods, and other innovations.
The remaster also includes the story add-ons Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine – which will be available to buyers of the base version of The Witcher 3. The third additional content “Ballads of the Past” (songs from the past) is expected to be released in 2027.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is being produced in partnership with Yigsoft Studios and will be released on PC (steam, GOG, EGS, Battle.net), PS5, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch 2 as a free update for owners of the base game.
