The space game “EVE Frontier” is preparing to launch the “Vestiges” series, which will bring major reforms to key game mechanics. The Fenris Creations studio team announced a complete wipe of the universe ahead of the release of the update on September 29, as the changes will affect the generation of star systems themselves.
The main innovation will be completely rethought flight physics, where the standard control mode will use a mouse or gamepad to aim, freeing up the keyboard for operation. Ship behavior now relies directly on modular assembly, and an improved skill system allows you to develop pilots and ship hulls as you gain experience. The world around us will also become more dangerous: wild drones have gained an expanded set of capabilities, including scanning, resource extraction, and production competition on par with real-life users.
New intersystem features, ancient artifacts and dangerous multi-star regions with complex environmental conditions will enrich exploration of the deep universe.
