Honor launches new products in China Magic9 Pro Max, the top of the Magic9 series And the first concrete results of the cooperation with ARRI in the field of film imaging. The company offers it as a portable theater system that combines photography hardware, color management, video recording and specialized accessories.

Magic 9 Pro Max focuses on camera and battery life
The system uses Elements of ARRI Imaging ScienceLogC3 curve, 10-bit color depth and ARRI wide color gamut 3. In ARRI CINEMA mode, you can record up to 4K at 60 fps and preview instantly with 14 ARRI Look presets. The ARRI Look Library also offers 87 pre-order shades.
As a result, the Magic 9 Pro Max can record in the LogC3 format (for those who want to record post-processed footage professionally), and offers 14 ARRI Look LUT presets, as well as access to the company’s official and third-party LUT libraries. APV 10-bit 4:2:2 codec is also supported.

Instead, the front-facing camera uses a square sensor, an option that allows you to record content horizontally and vertically without changing the frame, following a similar approach to Apple’s Center Stage. The new photography mod should also let you make better use of the interior space. Honor has used some of that space to integrate 8,800 mAh batterymade with silicon content up to 40%.
The smartphone is managed by him Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Honor claims it chose this variant to deliver a unified top-notch experience, rather than chasing specific benchmark results. Magic 9 Pro Max also supports Honor G200 and G500 teleconverters and video kits co-developed with SmallRig.
The Magic 9 series debuted in China today, available in Shadow Black, Glacier Silver and Moss Green, and in four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB. Price starts at RMB 6,499 (approximately €852). Honor has confirmed that the product will be launched in international markets, but has not revealed a specific date outside of the Chinese market.
