Following the Honor Watch 6 and Watch 6 Plus smartwatches, Honor launches the new Watch 6 Pro model, the development of which prioritizes expanding the functionality of monitoring health indicators rather than increasing autonomy.
Honor Watch 6 Pro uses a 1.5-inch dual-layer OLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a peak brightness of 4500 cd/m22and stainless steel frame. The stainless steel case measures 46.3 x 46.3 x 11.6 mm. This version of the smartwatch is also available in a two-tone ceramic coating, which is more durable than paint.
When connected to the Sannuo continuous glucose monitoring system, the smart watch supports 24/7 monitoring of heart rate variability (HRV) and blood glucose levels (CGM). This also requires the installation of a separate application. There’s also the BloodPressure2.0 blood pressure measurement system and fall and emergency detection capabilities that can send alerts in the event of no pulse (cardiac arrest). However, Honor warned that smart watches are not medical devices and cannot be relied upon entirely.
The existing Honor Polaris high-precision geo-positioning system uses dual-band technology and three antennas to provide stable signals even in densely populated urban areas. This smartwatch can track location continuously for 21 hours.
It is reported that Honor Watch 6 Pro supports cross-country running mode, as well as professional modes such as badminton and football.
The Honor Watch 6 Pro is now available for pre-order in five case and strap color combinations. The stainless steel version is priced at $240, and the ceramic-coated version is priced at $270.
