Every month, games on Xbox consoles and other platforms are permanently shut down, meaning their servers are shut down and the multiplayer features within those projects stop functioning. In the next few months, in October and November 2026, the servers of two large and popular projects will be shut down.
Rocket Racing will be removed from Fortress Heroes in October 2026, which was announced as early as March this year. Epic Games has yet to indicate a specific date in official information, but apparently, this will happen on October 1st. Following the server shutdown, Rocket Racer will no longer be available in any form on all platforms, including Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. UEFN islands created using the Rocket Racer template will be removed and associated missions will no longer be available. At the same time, cars in this mode will remain in the inventory of Fortress Heroes players.
Call of Duty: Warzone on Xbox One will also shut down in November 2026. Activision announced in May that with the start of the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions would be discontinued. An exact start date for the season has not yet been announced, but it should begin shortly after the game’s launch, which is scheduled for October 23, 2026.
Please note that Warzone’s shutdown applies specifically to the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions; the situation will not affect other platforms.
