Gears of War: E-Day will be released on October 6th, and reviews of the game will be released this week, along with early access. Xbox and Prince St. Pizza have announced a special collaboration to honor the highly anticipated shooter. The themed pizza “Emergence Pie” will be available at the chain’s U.S. and Toronto stores through November 1, and customers will receive in-game rewards.
The Emergence Pie features vodka salsa, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and sausage. The pizza is topped with Carbone Fine Food’s Aglio e Peperoncino Italian Sauce and chili peppers.
When purchasing a whole pizza or a single pizza, visitors will receive a unique code. It lets you unlock a special pizza badge for Gears of War: E-Day. Offer valid until November 1st or while supplies last.
The collaboration also includes a limited-edition pizza cutter based on the prototype Lancer from Gears of War: E-Day. The accessory is available at the Prince St store. pizza.
Lawrence Longo, general manager of Prince St. Pizza, noted that “Gears fans and pizza fans have overlapped for a long time,” and that working with Xbox allowed them to create a truly interesting collaboration that goes beyond just putting a logo on a box.
