Russian studio Targem Games, known for Crossout and Star Conflict, has announced a new project called The Drawratos. This is a card game for up to 4 people, in which participants sit at the poker table as mice, draw cards, bet with cheese, and use various tricks to defraud their opponents.
Drawratos allows players to cheat, which is an important mechanic. Cards can be replaced directly during the game, changing their suit or value. With the help of drawings, players will be able to form new combinations, strengthen their own hands, or deliberately mislead other participants.
Bets are placed with cheese, which is the main currency at the gaming table. An unsuccessful hand can deprive a player of all his reserves, while a successful combination or well-played con will bring cheese to his opponent. Unions don’t guarantee safety either. Other players may first offer assistance and then exploit the situation to their own advantage.
A release date for The Drawratos has yet to be announced, but the developers have launched a beta of the game, which you can enter after submitting your application steam. There is no embargo on the publication of the material.
