SteelSeries updates two of its most famous mouse lines New Rival Pro and Sensei Pro. The new generation includes four models: Rival Pro, Rival Pro Mini, Sensei Pro and Sensei Pro Mini, and introduces ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless connectivity designed to maintain an 8,000 Hz polling rate without relying on the crowded 2.4 GHz band.
The goal is to provide a more stable connection during competitive gaming. According to SteelSeries, UWB technology uses spectrum between 6.4 and 9.056 GHz, with a bandwidth 20 times higher than traditional wireless technologies.
New SteelSeries mice feature UWB and 8,000 Hz
The new SteelSeries Sensei and Rival Pro poll at 8,000 Hz, allowing mice to Communicates your location up to 8,000 times per second. SteelSeries also offers a maximum performance mode that keeps the sensor at 8K, capturing up to 20,000 frames per second, with stated specs of 800 IPS and 70G.
The new series uses TrueMove 42K optical sensors and optical switches, which are said to have a service life of 100 million clicks. Click latency is down to 0.35 milliseconds, and the standard model weighs 53 grams, while the mini version weighs 49 grams.

Another feature is the infinite power system, based on Two batteries can be replaced instantly. One battery charges while the other powers the mouse, so you don’t interrupt your session. When using the 8,000 Hz polling rate, the declared autonomy reaches 32 hours, and Up to 120 hours at 1,000 Hz.
SteelSeries provides hardware New version of GG softwarewhich allows you to intervene in many parameters. Features include lift distance adjustment, swivel control, protection against accidental wheel movement, sensitivity finder and sensitivity converter, and a 3D system for aim training.
All four mice are available in black or white. Pre-orders start today, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with expected arrival in stores on October 13. in Europe Rival Pro, Rival Pro Mini, Sensei Pro and Sensei Pro Mini are priced at 199.99 euros. SteelSeries will also offer a separate wireless travel adapter for €24.99.
