Warhammer 40,000: Undertide sends players into the sewers to meet the Prophet of Nurgle

Corruption and corruption begin to spread in Warhammer 40,000: Undertide with the Cursed Abyss expansion. The main innovation will be a story mini-campaign consisting of three related missions.

The first two parts will take place in the already familiar consignment yard and enclave of Barros, where the party must aid the allies of the Inquisition. The final mission will take players to a brand new location – the Spillway. Here, the fighters will have to enter the sewers beneath an ancient dam, where members of the water cartel are disappearing and hiding something more dangerous than your average cultist.

Players will also find a range of new weapons we’ve written about before. All classes in the game have also received a significant rebalance.

Deep within the Spillway, a new unique boss awaits players – the Prophet of Decay. He is an extremely powerful psyker of Nurgle, the source of the corruption that plagues the dungeons. The developers promised to design separate battles specifically for the new missions, so the usual set of skills may not be enough here.

At the same time, Fatshark updated AMD FSR to SDK version 2.3.0, added an alternative AMD FSR light regeneration denoiser for reflection tracing, and updated Nvidia Streamline to 2.12.0. Another small but useful innovation is the statistics after completing a task – now you can see your own metrics and the results of the entire team.
