Studio Denneko Yuugi has announced the release date for Sakura Eternal Palace, the anime-style third-person roguelike action game. The game will be released on November 5, 2026, and will be available on PC through the service steamand on Nintendo Switch. Alongside this announcement, the developers also released a new gameplay trailer, which you can see below.
In “Sakura Eternal Palace”, players will control Retra and explore the mysterious dreamland dungeon. As you progress, the heroine will become stronger, and each new attempt requires you to choose the right combination of abilities.
The combat system is designed for simple controls and fast combat. Retra can use regular combos, dodge attacks, block attacks with her shield, or continue attacking. When the tension is full, the over-tension mode will be activated, and then you can use super-spell special attacks to destroy your opponent with one blow. In dungeons you can find attribute boosts, which change the heroine’s characteristics and unlock new actions. Players will be able to collect various combinations of such items and tailor their character development to specific situations.
