The Pulsar protocol in Termit 2.6 provides support for Linux remote desktops and applications, printers and clipboard transfers (text and files) in terminal access and VDI scenarios, as well as authentication via Kerberos. A built-in toolbar and connection monitoring system are also implemented in the client. For companies, the transition to Termit via the Pulsar protocol means that Linux-based remote workstations can be completely replaced without losing the stability and security of data transmission.

This protocol is integrated into Termit 2.6 as an optional tool for connecting to Linux systems in remote desktop and application modes. In the first quarter of 2027, it should completely replace X2Go, and in 2027 overall, it should become the dominant protocol for Windows and web clients.
In Termit version 2.6, information security functions have also been enhanced. Flexible role models with role granular configuration have emerged. You can use the built-in roles of Administrator, Support Specialist, and Information Security Auditor, or configure additional roles of your own based on your company’s organizational model. This is relevant, for example, for distributed installations (administrators from different sites do not have to interact with each other’s resources) or support services with different access levels.
In terms of information security functions, contextual access to the working environment is also implemented. The system recognizes whether an employee is connecting from a trusted internal network or an external network and grants access to the allowed applications list accordingly. The authentication mechanism has also been further improved: support for passwordless authentication, using only smart cards and Kerberos, has been implemented, and the ability to change the order of factors to request a one-time code before the password has been added. This reduces the likelihood of an attack on corporate directories when an attacker attempts to block an account by entering incorrect data, and also allows companies more flexibility in configuring security access policies.
Updates in Termit 2.6 also improve the user experience for system administrators. The ability to manage power according to a schedule allows you to use computing resources more efficiently and maintain their delivery speeds when necessary and during peak loads. The automated scheduled operations feature reduces reliance on manual operations, simplifies infrastructure maintenance and expansion, and improves the overall stability and predictability of system operations. Support for template updates is also implemented in the zVirt virtualization system – and when updating a template, you do not need to recreate the entire virtual machine pool.
The system also received updates that provide convenience to end users. Sessions can now be transferred from any device to the employee’s current device, ensuring continuity of business processes, for example in hybrid working formats.
