prior periods Price increases in April Raspberry Pi has managed to keep the prices of the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5 models with 1 GB and 2 GB of memory at the same level, only increasing the price of the versions with more memory. However, it’s no longer possible to maintain the same prices, and starting today, the company is increasing the cost of the 2 GB memory version of the Raspberry Pi 4 by $12.50, to $67.50, and the Raspberry Pi 5 to $77.50.
Prices for other products remain unchanged, including the base 1GB versions of the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5, and the 2GB versions of the Compute Module 4 and Compute Module 5.
The company also recommends taking a more cautious approach to choosing the right single-board computer and focusing on earlier models, such as the Raspberry Pi 3B, 3A+, or 3B+. They can deliver the performance your project needs at a lower cost.
Raspberry Pi also noted that the current memory supply situation is extremely difficult, but this is only temporary. Over time, memory prices will fall and manufacturers will lower the prices of single-board computers.
