Focus Entertainment has done just that with the release of its new action platformer. Get ideas ahead of time with playable demos.
For Elta: Defy All Gods, Afterburner Studios and Focus Entertainment have been working on a new combination of action and platform games, which was previously slated to launch in early 2027. Now they’ve become more specific on this front and confirmed a release date.
Anyone interested can now mark February 2, 2027 in red on their calendars, as that’s when Elta: Defy All Gods will be released on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/s. The current purchase price as part of a possible pre-order is 29.99 euros.
Now you can see for yourself what you can expect, as today’s announcement has revealed a playable demo. The game is free to play on all supported platforms, and it’s expected to take less than an hour to complete one section of the game. You take on the role of Citus, a warrior monk tasked with finding his lost dragon god. This takes you on a journey filled with martial arts, platforming, and sci-fi exploration. The demo ends with the first boss fight against the Chosen of Kan Loa.
According to official information, the total playback time of the later full version should be 15 to 20 hours.
