The Xbox team has released Microsoft Jewel on iOS and Android. This is the first new mobile app for Microsoft Casual Games in seven years and the fifth in the studio’s series, as noted on the official blog Xbox line.
Microsoft Jewel is a classic match-3 puzzle game. In it, players need to collect 3 or more identical gems, clear the field and gain points. Additional bonus gems and boosters allow you to create chain reactions and get better results. The project provides daily tests with individual tasks.
One of the main features of the mobile version is support for Xbox Achievements. After signing in with a Microsoft account, users can earn achievements directly on iOS and Android and add Gamerscore points to their Xbox profile when playing games on mobile devices.
The game also offers additional bonuses for Game Pass subscribers. Microsoft subscribers enjoy premium features including no ads and additional in-game bonuses.
Microsoft Jewel also supports sharing progress between iOS, Android and standalone PC versions. The project has yet to be showcased on Xbox consoles.
