Ulefone, a manufacturer known for its secure mobile devices, recently launched the Armor Watch Pro smartwatch, which is proving to be quite popular. Building on this success, the company launched a Armor Watch Ultra. This is the latest generation of rugged multi-sport smartwatches with GPS support.
The new product has a circular AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 1.93 inches, which can access offline maps and a bright flashlight. As a result, watch owners will receive functionality for daily use and a practical tool for outdoor activities. Prices start at $99.99.
The screen is large by smartwatch standards, with enough space to comfortably view information about physical activity, read messages, and familiarize yourself with maps. The screen resolution is 368 x 448 pixels, the refresh rate is 60Hz, and the peak brightness reaches 600 nits. To protect the display from scratches during use, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass is installed on top.
Hikers, joggers, and generally active lifestyle enthusiasts may find built-in GPS support and A-GPS useful, allowing them to record their routes. Another advantage is that offline maps can be obtained directly from the watch without being connected to a smartphone. In nature, you can also use a compass, barometer, and altimeter. The powerful super flashlight built into the watch can be useful when hiking or working in the dark.
The metal frame and protective elements around the buttons and flashlight ensure the strength of the design. The watch is IP68 and IP69K water and dust resistant, has a 5ATM water resistance rating, and meets MIL-STD-810H reliability standards. The set includes orange and black straps, allowing you to choose between sporty brightness and classic restraint.
Armor Watch Ultra Supports over 160 sports activities and syncs with Strava services. Activity and health monitoring includes tracking heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep quality, heart rate variability and stress levels. Therefore, information about physical activity and health indicators are combined in one device.
With the presence of more than a hundred dials, those who want to give their watches a more personalized look have the opportunity to do so. When connected to a smartphone, the watch can receive phone calls and notification support via Bluetooth. WhatsApp Messenger users with Android devices will be able to reply to messages using voice input on their watch. Emojis and templates can also be used for replies, eliminating the need to use your smartphone again and type messages manually. This feature is not yet available on iPhone.
The watch is equipped with a 700mAh battery, which can last up to eight days in normal mode. True autonomy depends on the settings and intensity of a given user’s interaction with the watch.
The Ulefone Armor Watch Ultra is already available to order from the official Ulefone store, starting at $99.99. For more information on technical specifications, visit the official page Armor Watch Ultra on the manufacturer’s website.
