The ultrasonic solid-state cooler ensures that the computer operates almost silently – the noise does not exceed 21 dBA; in addition, this solution reduces the thickness of the device by 35% and the weight by 43% compared to models using traditional fans and heat sinks. appearance Aaeon Up Xtreme PTL Edge Air It is significantly different from traditional consumer mini PCs as this model is designed for the embedded and industrial markets. It is suitable for integration into systems with limited space – these can be ultra-thin terminals, compact medical complexes and low-clearance autonomous mobile robots.

In addition to quiet operation, compact dimensions and low weight, an important advantage of the model is the absence of vibrations characteristic of fan operation. The set of ports also shows that this is not a consumer model: in addition to the standard USB Type-C and USB Type-A, LAN, audio and video connectors, there are two COM ports (RS-232/422/485) and a 40-pin GPIO. Up to four monitors can be connected to the computer; versions are available with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, Ultra 7 356H or Ultra 5 325 processors – the older X7 has powerful integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics with 12 Xe cores.
It has 2 DDR5 SODIMM memory module slots (speed 7200 MT/s, total capacity up to 128 GB), 2 SSD format M.2 2280 slots and 1 M.2 2230 slot for wireless communication modules. The AirJet cooling system requires certain compromises: 6% more energy consumption and a reduced operating temperature range: from -10 °C to +45 °C. As is often the case with announcements for the enterprise sector, exact pricing wasn’t announced – you’ll have to contact the manufacturer directly. It is understood that you can choose to pre-install the operating system: Windows IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
