DOOM: The Dark Ages players can expect a new single-player mode soon. The so-called Carnage mode will soon be available in the shooter via a free update.
id Software officially announced a free update for the shooting game “DOOM: Dark Ages” during a live broadcast; the game is scheduled to be released in the new month and will bring a new single-player mode.
Most recently, DOOM: Dark Ages received the Revelation DLC, which expanded the campaign and added new enemies, weapons, and features. As confirmed during the Slayers Cub Live broadcast, the makers are now continuing to build on this with new updates.
Massacre mode is designed to pit you against an ever-increasing number of demonic opponents that you need to fight off in various arenas. You can then earn cosmetics and move up the rankings with your best rounds and scores.
The aforementioned Revelations DLC expanded the game in July, adding 10 to 12 hours of new content.
