The developers of MMORPG AION 2 are changing the rules for using cosmetics in the Founder’s Set. Owners of all three versions of the Founders Pack will be able to apply earned outfits, weapon skins, wings, and other cosmetics to all characters on their account, regardless of the server chosen.
The decision was made based on feedback from players who encountered limitations during Early Access. Currently, Founder’s Pack cosmetics are limited to one character, preventing players from using them on alternatives. Once the changes are made, access to cosmetic rewards will be extended to all characters on the account and on all servers. Item set depends on the Founder’s Pack level purchased:
- Standard Founder’s Pack – Unique title “Vanguard of Atreus”.
- Deluxe Founder’s Pack – Atreia’s Vanguard title, Ascended Daeva armor skin, and Eternal Sun weapon skin.
- Ultimate Founder’s Pack – All rewards listed above, Moonsong armor skin, Black Dragon pet, and Sun Wings.
This change does not affect 30-day subscriptions, Daeva Campaign Crate, Daeva Style Crate, or the items within these containers. They will still be one-time rewards with the same eligibility rules.
The exact time when the new rules will be implemented has not yet been announced, but you should expect it after Early Access ends. The next article will detail how characters use cosmetics, what actions players need to take, and exactly when the changes will occur.
The authors also consider the case of players who initially choose cheaper sets due to cosmetic usage restrictions. On Purple, the set can be upgraded to a more expensive version by paying the price difference. On Steam, after purchasing a higher tier Founder’s Pack using the same account, you must contact support to obtain a refund for the previously purchased pack. Detailed return procedures will be posted with further instructions.
