MMORPG Farever has received its second major update in early access, called Call to Glory. This update brings Heroic difficulty, which significantly changes the usual boss fights. Enemies have new attack options and additional mechanics, new dangers have appeared in the arena, and some bosses now have extra stages, making familiar fights require a different approach.
For victory on Heroic Difficulty, players will receive new epic equipment that can be enhanced through infusions. The same infusion installed on multiple pieces of equipment will activate additional set bonuses. Heroic versions of all dungeons in the first zone are now available. The remainder will be open weekly through October.
This update also introduces a new reputation system for the Syagartha faction. Merilam Pilgrims and Sisterhood of the Broken are available from the start. The former will increase their reputation for completing activities, finding secrets and treasures, and completed actions will be retroactive. The second faction is related to the rift, increasing your reputation by clearing rifts, killing demons, collecting soul stones, and providing corrupted gifts, thereby increasing your chances of obtaining rare items. The developers will be adding new factions during Early Access.
Social features have been expanded to include friend lists, ignore lists, and emotions. Players can now add friends directly through the game without sending invitations through Steam. The game also adds a more convenient tool for marking places and directions on the map.
