The iconic mechanical adventure Machinarium, developed by the Czech studio Amanita Design, will receive a sequel 17 years after its release – Machinarium 2 presented at the presentation of The Triple-i Initiative.

In the plot of Machinarium 2, after escaping from the city of Machinarium, the robots Josef and Bertha go in search of a new home and find a hidden valley inhabited by two unusual tribes.
One tribe of robots lives in the Electron Monastery above, and another in the city of Oilton below, and both are slowly running out of energy. Announcement trailer Machinarium 2 is attached below.
Players of Machinarium 2, in the role of both Josef and Bertha (free switching between characters is declared), will have to explore a completely new world, solve puzzles and communicate using gestures and signs.
Machinarium 2 has been confirmed for PC (Steam) and has no release date. They promise hand-drawn graphics, expressive animation, a story without words, music from the original game’s composer, gamepad support and Russian language support.
