Those: Blizzard
02/27/2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Blizzard is introducing improvements to the Blood Moon event in Stranglethorn Vale to address issues with groups on different layers and is asking for detailed feedback – with instructions for use!
Hardly a long period of time goes by in World of Wacraft Classic: Season of Discovery without adjustments or corrections. This is not surprising, as the project focuses on discoveries in every respect.
This time it's all about the Blood Moon event in Stranglethorn Vale – the infamous open-world PvP carnage of phase two. More specifically, one of the issues is that new group members may not be able to be moved to the same layer if it is already full. Blizzard kindly tells you exactly what your feedback should look like.

Specific feedback with as many details as possible is required
Feedback and criticism are important, and the development team of World of Warcraft Classic (buy now) is aware of that. Unfortunately, some of the criticism is anything but constructive – let's be honest, each of us has vented in anger about one or two mechanics. (Probably) for this reason, Blizzard has put together a little guide for you in a blue post on what your feedback should look like.
This includes points such as:
What exactly happened? Who was affected? Where were the affected players? What day and time? On what realm?
There are also a few examples of what “good” and “less” good feedback can look like.
There was a thumbs up for about “I was in a group of 4 in Booty Bay and invited a 5th person into the group at approximately 3:14 p.m. server time on February 24th on Crusader Strike. This 5th person was unable to join our layer. “
Less enthusiastic are the developers of inaccurate complaints like: “There was lag” or “My group was split”.
Reactions to the Bluepost are mixed. For the most part, players actually provide criticism in the desired form, much to Blizzard's delight. Of course, some people still express their frustration: “Nice apology for terrible design” “The developers have done a bad job again – another lousy PvP event.”
What do you think of Blizzard's current approach to feedback and criticism? Do you feel taken seriously and heard? What are your experiences with the new phase two PvP event? What would you do differently than the developers? Can you possibly not do anything with SoD? Let us know what you think and write your opinion in the comments.
