It is impossible to count the hours we live in Star Wars Battlefront 2 back in the mid-2000s. The Pandemic Studios title proposed us to revive the greatest conflicts in the galaxy by George Lucas, but with a hypervitaminized sequel to the previous installment that arrived in 2004.
PS2, PSP, PC and Xbox were the platforms that could enjoy the skirmishes sponsored by LucasArts and whose main novelties were fight like a Jedi and destroy the enemy aboard a spaceship. All fun, action and a lot of tension, so there was little time to take a look at the credits showing the names of the developers.
Whether it was at the end of the main campaign or in the manual, there are dozens of people involved in a project that is very fond of and who knows if for the anonymous creator who decided to place a marriage proposal among the entire text. Starting at minute 2:12 of this video you can read in the Special Thanks section, the phrase “Luci Wolfe, will you marry me?”, or what is the same, “Luci Wolfe, will you marry me?“.
It is not known for sure who was the author of such a curious message and there was a risk that Luci would not read it, although he probably made sure that this happened. We can find it both in the final credits that appear in Star Wars Battlefront 2 as in the printed manual itself that was inside the game box.
The most tragic thing about the matter is that It is unknown what Luci answered., since there is no information about it. It seems that we will never know if everything resulted in a happy marriage with one of the best anecdotes for a couple or in a sad ending with each one on their own.
