Huawei is already preparing the global launch of the new Band 9. The wearable is going through several international certification sites and, at any moment, will be made available around the world.
But the long-awaited P70 series of premium smartphones goes in exactly the opposite direction. According to the most recent rumor, the launch has been postponed and will no longer happen at the end of March, as initially planned.
Huawei Smartband 9 with still unknown specifications
Aroged tested the Huawei Band 8
It seems that in 2024, Huawei will continue to invest in the wearables market with the launch of the new Band 9 kicking off this year. But unfortunately, no specifications of the new smartband are yet known.
The model's passage through various international certifications did not reveal the features included in the wearable, but we assume that it arrives with improvements compared to the previous model launched last year.
Remember that the Band 8 is equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen and provides autonomy for up to 14 days. Integrated fast charging also allows the battery to reach 100% in just 45 minutes.
It has more than 100 modes aimed at sports and TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring informs users about their resting heart rate for seven days. It also features monitoring of sleep quality and blood oxygen levels, among other relevant health and well-being parameters.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the P70 series of smartphones follows the opposite path to that of the new wearable. All because its launch has been postponed and will no longer happen at the end of this month, as initially planned.
According to some Chinese media, the long-awaited generation of premium smartphones will now be launched in April in that market.
The reasons for this postponement are also unknown, but some sources suggest that they are related to a broader launch strategy and not to difficulties encountered in the production or component supply chain.
Recall that the Huawei P70 series will be powered by a variant of the brand's proprietary Kirin 9000 processor, will include new satellite communications technology and will have a new rear camera design.
This optical module will be one of the models' main attractions as it includes a primary sensor with variable physical aperture and a periscope telephoto sensor with 50 megapixels of resolution and 4x optical zoom.
