“Street Fighter 6” brings monster hunters into the battlefield. And with Akuma a new fighter comes onto the stage. There are trailers for both announcements.
Capcom is bringing “Street Fighter 6” and “Monster Hunter” together. To mark the 20th anniversary of the monster hunt, players in the Brawler will benefit from, among other things, Rathalos armor with which they can move through the battle hub.
They benefit from a newly designed room for hunters, where “Street Fighter 6” players can take photos and immortalize themselves with the new armor. The content will be activated in April. A trailer for the collaboration is embedded below these lines.
Akuma soon joins the fighting squad
The Japanese developer also took the opportunity to introduce the next DLC fighter for “Street Fighter 6”. Akuma, who has changed significantly, joins the squad of fighters and appears in a trailer, which is also embedded below these lines. It should be activated in the spring.
Akuma is compatible with three game modes including Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub. More details about the fighter will follow at a later date.
A fan favorite is added with Akuma.
In February, producer Shuhei Matsumoto was not yet in the cards, emphasized about the new addition: “Of course we can’t provide much information at the moment. But we're all really excited for you to see it. It looks great and has lots of great effects. We will plan carefully how we introduce this character to you.”
The Fighting Pass, in turn, is bringing a “Mega Man” theme to the battle bub of “Street Fighter 6” this month. Included is numerous content and rewards related to the classic game character. This includes the current Street Voter event, where players can vote for their favorite “Mega Man” game.
Capcom also announced that Capcom Cup XI, the finale of this year's Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) season, will once again feature a grand prize of $1 million awaits the winner of the Grand Final.
