NetEase Games has announced the game Marvel Rivals. This is a free-to-play multiplayer third-person shooter with Marvel comics characters. It is impossible not to note the similarities with Overwatch, which is why foreign colleagues immediately called the new game another “clone” of the Blizzard Entertainment project.
Battles in Marvel Rivals will take place in a 6v6 format. Players will take on the role of one of the superheroes or supervillains from the comics, such as Loki, Groot or Spider-Man. It is known that the team behind the project included developers who had previously worked on the games Battlefield and Call of Duty.
The release date for Marvel Rivals has not yet been announced. In May, the developers plan to conduct closed alpha testing; applications for participation can be submitted through the official website. The list of available platforms currently only includes PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The system requirements of the game turned out to be relatively low.
Minimum system requirements:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit; processor: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X; RAM: 12 GB; video card: GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580; free disk space: 70 GB.
