Although Yandex’s robotaxis are still a very strange sight, in the years of the project’s existence, as of the beginning of this year, they have carried more than 200,000 passengers and traveled a total of more than 37 million kilometers. Yandex noted that at this stage, the registration of road traffic accidents (RTA) involving robotaxis is no different from ordinary accidents, and not a single accident caused by a malfunction of a self-driving taxi has been recorded.
It should be understood here that there is a difference between wine and wine.
