Publisher ByteRockers’ Games and developer Elysium Game Studio have announced the release date for their action role-playing game NEO BERLIN 2087. The game is scheduled to be released on Steam in 2028 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. On the eve of Gamescom 2026, the author has also released a new atmospheric trailer, showcasing the dark streets of Germany’s futuristic capital as well as the project’s key gameplay features.
The plot takes players to a dystopian future Berlin, divided by walls into a luxurious center for the elite and a dangerous wasteland for everyone else, populated by rioting robots. The protagonist is Detective Nolan, who is tasked with finding the missing daughter of a murdered police chief. In search of clues to a massive conspiracy, the protagonist will be able to use advanced augmentation technologies: scan the environment, penetrate the memories of the dead and recover images of past events. Gameplay combines dynamic firefights and stealth, with the ability to seamlessly switch between first- and third-person perspectives.
What do you think of the NEO BERLIN 2087 concept? Are you prepared to wait until 2028 to start the project, or do you plan on forgetting about it until the news is released?
