
Halo Studios has announced plans to release an update for Halo: Campaign Evolved next week. It should address some progression, enemy behavior, and stability issues. In the announcement, the author pointed out the following 5 key changes:
- Sergeant Johnson will receive a fix to prevent mission progress from being blocked.
- Jackals are more likely to be stunned when hit in their arms and legs.
- When the Enlarged Skull is activated, Marines and Infected Marines will begin using assault rifles.
- Players will be able to turn off chromatic aberration and film grain.
- The developers will be making additional stability improvements across all platforms.
Halo Studios has not yet announced a specific release date for the patch, but it is expected to be released during the week of August 17-21. They promise to provide a full description of their release.
Halo Studios also warns players currently playing the campaign that after installing the patch, saved progress in the current mission will be reset. They advise users to complete current tasks before the update is released to avoid losing progress.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is available now on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC, as well as Game Pass. According to analysts, the game has sold more than 1.2 million copies.
