HoYoverse has launched version 4.5 of “The City of a Thousand Planets” for the turn-based role-playing game “Honkai: Star Trails”. The game will be released on August 26, 2026, and will take you to Zvizdogler, an important center of the Star World Corporation. There, the Pioneers must seek help from 2D and face the KMM’s new conspiracy.
New characters in the update will be:
- Zaryanka: clear singing voice (5★, Wind, Memory Path) – In battle, she supports allies, builds up emotions and strengthens her troops, and her superpowers allow selected allies to take immediate action.
- Tanglin: Surfing (5★, Quantum type, Happy Road). Use surf and beach volleyball to build up resources for powerful additional attacks.
The game will host the Supremacy: Interstellar Grand Prix racing event, where Pathfinder will have to lead his own team. There will also be a series of Little Big Adventure mini-challenges and updates to the Divergent Universe mode. Additionally, players can look forward to dual bonus events, Plane Rifts and Strange Realms, as well as new cosmetics for Mastery.
In version 4.5, plot dialogue can be accelerated during the passage and the speed can be changed at any time.
In addition to the update, Honkai Impact: Star Trails is also partnering with another HoYoverse game, Zenless Zone Zero. New characters will appear in the game, but which ones have yet to be determined. The date of the event is also unknown.
