The developers of MMORPG Legend of YMIR have revealed development plans for the game after receiving new feedback from players. The team responded to five key proposals and revealed what changes are already being prepared.
One of the main topics is DPS metering. Technically, it’s already possible to add it, but the developers were concerned about discrimination against individual classes and conflict within groups. Therefore, they want to limit the feature and mainly use it for large-scale PvP. The YMIR Cup will not introduce standard characters to avoid affecting the progress of the strongest players. Instead, we will consider holding separate tournaments using the same equipment.
The team refuses to reward kills in cross-server PvP: the strong can turn such a system into a hunt for the weak. Another option is additional mini-bosses and competitive monsters. They also want to make the world of “Ymir Legend” more interesting to explore – there will be secret passages and missions with hidden stories.
At the same time, the developers are making massive improvements to Potential, automatic chest opening on mobile, and the balance of Volva, Berserker, and Warlord. Offline mode will provide mid-term stages for players with strengths of 1.70, 1.90, and 210,000.
The developers’ current plans are a continuation of the campaign to change the game based on player needs. Please write in the comments if these are changes you’d like to see made to the game, or maybe you were hoping for something different.
