Multiplayer shooter Hell Let Loose: Vietnam has been released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The project has received mixed reviews from players on Steam – only 53% of the 2,360 ratings are positive. At the same time, the online peak reached 30,000 people in the first few hours after the release.
Among the negative reviews, mediocre game optimization, incorrect sound source positioning, “wooden” animations, AMD graphics card crashes and minor bugs were repeatedly mentioned. At the same time, among the positive reviews, users noted the game’s good optimization and potential for further development.
The developers have reported that they are aware of some issues and are working on fixing them. For example, server capacity has been increased in all regions, and efforts are being made to eliminate lobby entry issues. Additionally, developers are working on issues with AMD graphics cards. As a workaround, you can add one of the following commands to the Steam launch options:
-dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system
-dx11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system
Hell Unleashed: Vietnam takes players into the jungles of the Vietnam War, where North Vietnam and the U.S. military clashed. The game launches with six large-scale maps based on real-life locations, as well as dozens of historically accurate weapons and equipment models.
