Take-Two, 2K and Hangar 13 have announced Mafia: Definitive Edition native to Xbox Series X S and Playstation 5. Players can expect 60 FPS and various technical improvements, but the author has not yet provided a specific list. Owners of any version of Mafia: Definitive Edition for Playstation 4 (physical or digital) can get the digital version for Playstation 5 for free through the Playstation Store. The developer also stated that saves from the version of the game on Xbox One or Playstation 4 will not be transferred to the native version of Xbox Series X | S or Playstation 5.
