New map in the update
Uncle Teyvat shared information about the next update in response to a question from a subscriber who asked him to tell him something interesting about version 7.1. According to insiders, you shouldn’t expect any particularly unusual innovations in the patch. It will include Archon’s standard story missions, new characters, and regular activities.
However, judging from this news, no new maps are expected to appear in version 7.1. Insiders separately noted that the patch goes beyond what is normally set out “Nothing too interesting” will happen.
Of course, this doesn’t mean the update will be a clean slate, but given the scale of the upcoming Snezhnaya, it’s likely the developers in 7.1 will give players who aren’t too keen on clearing locations a little breathing room.
Vodianica comes in two forms

So while you shouldn’t take what you see as confirmation of a full-fledged conversion mechanic, the fact that this model exists doesn’t yet explain how developers will use it in the game.
An insider revealed that other information about Vodyanitsa also came from Dim Regular model In the form of short video rendering. So now you can see the heroine’s normal appearance and her underwater form at the same time.
For now, new leaks paint a rather quiet picture of patch 7.1: new characters, a continuation of the main story, and an anniversary event without a new map. But it’s clear that Vodianica could be one of the most interesting characters in the patch, if only because of her unusual underwater form. However, keep in mind that leaks may change multiple times before being published.
