The debut project from independent studio Yesterday’s Sandwich, titled Observer, takes players to the totalitarian state of Nodia, where players must spy on its residents from a secret hideout.
The protagonist observes the windows of the house opposite, records violations and decides what information to send to the authorities. Gameplay on Unreal Engine 5 revolves around setting up a spy room, eavesdropping on conversations, and gathering evidence on special investigation boards.
Every decision affects the fate of people in the mysterious city Z, and growing paranoia makes you question the reality of what’s happening. A release date for the PC version of this psychological thriller on Steam has not yet been announced.
