Lords of the Manor is preparing an update that will significantly modify many daily mechanics. The developers have corrected the balance of work for livestock, traders and cattle, improved the interface and eliminated a long list of bugs.
Meat production now requires more resources: Beef requires six units from a cow or three units from a calf, while lamb requires three units from a sheep. In the fall, the cows no longer produce milk, but the logging camp can use up to three cows at a time. The behavior of animals on pastures, farming areas, trading posts, and tavern residents has also been improved. The pilot system also revived different residents’ preferences for cider, ale and mead.
Trade carts will now look for the nearest available trade post in the selected area rather than being guided in build order. For Pasture, we’ve added separate training, expanded support for controllers, and improved interface scaling. The beta brings additional changes to the construction yard, including two cows and a wagon.
The main part of the patch is dedicated to fixes. The developers fixed issues such as frozen workers, hungry cows, merchants, saves, tasks, notifications, interface, and various crashes. At the same time, the family approval calculation and shepherd tasks have also been optimized, and some image jumps caused by the interface update should now disappear.
