The story of the use of generative artificial intelligence in Saber Interactive’s taxi simulator Rideshare Stimulator almost ended in reconciliation, but has a new continuation.
Previously, screenwriter Stella Sacco said she had received a personal apology from Saber CEO Matthew Kaci for harsh comments she made in the media. However, in his LinkedIn post, Kaci couldn’t help but criticize industry veteran and portal screenwriter Chet Faliszek, who previously posted a devastating 26-minute video review of the company chief’s conduct. Kach called Falisek an “unsuccessful writer,” accusing him of getting personal and fomenting online scandal in order to boost his views.
So despite Kaci’s own admission that it would be best for senior executives not to make emotional comments online, attempts to patch things up once again escalated into a public confrontation.
