Matter Team studio has released answers to questions about first-person action shooter Active Matter. First of all, we know that the specific release date of the game is steam It will be released on consoles “at the end of August”.
If you have already purchased Active Matter from the Gaijin store, you will receive the equivalent version for free on Steam, so you do not need to purchase the game again. The only exception is the Elite Squad Edition, which essentially comes bundled with the Premium Edition and three additional Friend Keys. Its owners will receive the premium version, while their friends will be able to launch the standard version’s key.

- Developers are already testing dynamic changes in the area (increasing wind speeds, changing color palettes) and plan to continue experimenting.
- The game will add support for multiple squads in an isolated raid, similar to custom matches.
- The author plans to develop mechanics for interacting with the world and add more quests with objects and puzzles.
- The team will continue to create new bosses, secrets, and investigation mechanics.
- The developers use their own analytics system to identify cheaters and punish them by banning any third-party apps indefinitely.
- The resurrection mechanic will be retained and improved, giving players a second chance without lengthy loading times.
- Monster behavior is being redesigned, and the first changes will be released in the next patch.
- Impact grenades are not yet planned, but may appear in the future.
- Details on the factions will be announced closer to launch.
- Heavy equipment (tanks and helicopters) will appear on the Nexus map in combat mode.
