AOC has released an updated version of its Agon Pro AG276UZ 27-inch gaming monitor, adding circular polarization technology while retaining the existing product name and model number. The updated model is built on the Fast IPS matrix and still supports two operating modes: a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a frequency of 480 Hz.

According to the Hong Kong page of the AOC website, the updated version of the Agon Pro AG276UZ circularly polarized monitor is priced at HK$4,099 (approximately US$522). The initial model, priced at HK$3,699 (approximately US$472), does not use circular polarization technology. It’s worth noting that the Agon Pro AG276UZ page on the company’s website for Australian consumers lists the same monitor as supporting 4K@240Hz and FHD@480Hz, but makes no mention of circular polarization. This suggests that AOC may release the updated panel in the region, retaining the model number AG276UZ, rather than building a separate SKU.
Circularly polarized panel supplier BOE said that compared with traditional linearly polarized LCD displays, this technology is designed to make the screen backlight closer to natural light and reduce visual fatigue.
Agon Pro AG276UZ claims 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage and 100% sRGB coverage. Color accuracy is Delta E <2. Peak display brightness is 450 cd/m22. The panel response speed is 1ms GtG (0.3ms MPRT).
This monitor comes with 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 2.1, 2 USB-A ports with 5 Gbps speed, and 3.5mm audio output. This monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that allows you to adjust the height, swivel, and tilt of the screen above your desk.
AOC has not announced US or European pricing for the updated Agon Pro AG276UZ circularly polarized monitor.
