Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, the blockbuster open-world pirate action thriller from French publisher and developer Ubisoft, has itself fallen victim to piracy just over a month after its release.

Let’s remember that, following many other major releases, the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced comes with the controversial Denuvo anti-piracy system, which until recently was considered impenetrable.
As noted in the publication DSSO gamesHackerVoice 38 has previously hacked into Doom: Dark Ages, Stellar Blade, Hogwarts Legacy, and Atomic Heart, but successfully breached Denuvo protection in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resync.

The pirated version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, resynced by voices38, was released one month and one week after the official release, based on build 1.0.6. No hypervisor is required (you can read about its capabilities and dangers here).
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resync thus becomes the fifth major game to be released by Denuvo in 2026, with Sound Invasion 38. The first four are “Requiem for Resident Evil”, “Pragmata”, “007 Dawn” and “Crimson Desert”.

“Black Flag Resync” is a remastered version of “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag”, using the latest version of the Anvil engine. The game follows the adventures of pirate and assassin Edward Kenway during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag resynced version releases on PC on July 9th (steam, EGS, Ubisoft Connect), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The remake received “very positive” reviews on Steam (81% rating) and sold 3 million copies in 8 days.
